?The business community touts Janesville as a great hub for logistics. I-90/39, I-43 and rail make it easy for product and people to easily come in and out of our community. For residents of Janesville, our location makes it a perfect spot to enjoy incredible day trips. ?

?I'd argue that you can't find a better place to live and enjoy the most perfect day trips. Let's start with our neighbors slightly to the north. In 45-50 minutes you be in Madison to take in one of the many festivals or just take in the scenery at the Union. ?

?If you want to head east, in 90 minutes you can park, have the EZ-Up out and the grill started for tailgating before a Brewers game in Milwaukee. You can also take a few more minutes and visit the cavern they call the Bradley Center for some mediocre Bucks basketball (definition of enjoyable is at your discretion). Maybe the museums downtown would be a better choice.?

?Some of the best trails in the Midwest are less than 30 minutes away in the Kettle Moraine. A State park pass and trail pass are cheap and the walking and and biking trails are incredible! I forgot about the Kettles until this summer. Thanks to a few friends I remember how great this local gem really is! Bug spray HIGHLY recommended.?

?The obvious day trip is to the Dells. We're less than 90 minutes away from the water park capital of the world! Keep that State park pass handy, stop at Devils Lake afterwards and finish your trip by taking the Colsac ferry over the Wisconsin River at Merrimac. We've enjoyed that day and I highly recommend it.?

?If Wisconsin day trips aren't for you then head for the border, 2 hours and you're in Chicago. We even have the option of stopping in Harvard and taking the train downtown. If you can't find anything to do in Chi-town, then…off to Galena? Yep, that's only a few hours away too. I know more and more who take off on the bikes (throttle, not pedal) for a day away to Galena.?

?There are a million more perfect day trips outside of Janesville and there are a million reasons to stay and enjoy the attractions of Janesville too! Where are your 'perfect' day trips away from Janesville??
