A pig roast fundraiser is planned for Saturday to help with expenses for a Delavan woman undergoing treatment for breast cancer. Heidi Schulz recently completed chemotherapy and friends and family are raising money to help with unpaid medical expenses and living expenses while she is unable to work.

A Facebook page has been set up for Schulz HERE.

The fundraiser will be held rain or shine beginning at 2 p.m. May 21, 2011 at Town of Delavan Community Park. There will be bouncey houses, games, face painting and raffles from 4 to 6 p.m. A live band will play from 6 to 9 p.m. Dinner will be from 2 to 7 p.m.

Tickets can be purchased from Ulmer Jewelers in Harvard or by mail by contacting Heather Vierck at (815) 943-3660. Donations are $12 adults, $7 for children ages 3 to 13 in advance. At the door, donations will be $15 adults, $10 children.
