Delavan man wins $1.34 million playing Ho Chunk slots
Daniel Nevin of Delavan thought he found his lucky slot machine when he won $1,000 two weeks ago at the Ho Chunk Casino near the Wisconsin Dells.
He was wise to trust his intuition, because he returned to play the same machine Friday and won $1.34 million.
"I wasn't sure, but I thought I won. The machine said 'call attendant' so I wasn't sure," Nevin told Channel3000.com. He played a $5 progressive Wheel of Fortune slot machine. Nevin put in $20, because he had won on that same machine a few weeks earlier.
Nevin said he wants to use the money to take care of his loved ones.
This is the first million-dollar prize awarded at Ho Chunk Casino this year.
