On Santorum makes surprise stop in Delavan

Gixxergary...apparently you are misinformed. I love how people make comments when they are ignorant to what is happening. Basic election law dictates you can't wear political clothing in the poll place. You were politely asked to leave. There is nothing about this that is mischievous. Exit polls can't happen in the poll places. Neither can campaigning. When you are wearing the shirt of a candidate...ANY CANDIDATE...you are campaigning. Sorry, but get informed.

On Test results returned: Driver in fatal crash had no alcohol in blood

Sigma, this is also not a he said she said case as you put it. In vehicle accidents, there are always ways to put the pieces back together and show where the vehicles were when they came into contact with one another. The reason the highway was closed for several hours is due to the measurements and accident reconstruction that was being done. The Sheriff's Dept. could go back today and put the vehicles back in the same exact spot where they came together regardless of where the vehicles finally came to rest. Rather than be so critical of everyone here, take some time to learn about the processes involved and educate yourself. Ask your local police department or Sheriff's Dept. to explaint things, show you, or ride along and learn what was done. Officers and deputies go to school for weeks on end to learn how to put back together major traffic accidents. And no, this doesn't include asking the color of one's socks.

Listen up folks. The accident investigation clearly revealed that the vehicle that Dees was operating crossed the center line into oncoming traffic. He is clearly at fault with this. It is a crime in the state of Wisconsin to take someone else's life through criminal actions or simply through negilgence. It's reasonable to say that you all should feel safe in the fact that oncoming traffic will not cross the center line of the roadway and strike your vehicle. Just because the sun may be in your eyes or you are sleepy or simply not paying attention does not make you responsible. If this was your 9 year old son that was killed, you'd let Dees walk the streets or post a few hundred bucks and a signature to get out of jail? I am guessing not. No reasonable person would. The question lies simply with the contributing factors surrounding this accident. I am guessing that there may be other contributing factors in this case and that is what they are looking for and may in fact have. The alcohol is .000. The report says nothing about a drug screen that was most certainly done at the State Toxicology lab. Reserve judgement until the entire story comes out. This is only a small portion of it...

Great. Another several evenings when LGPD will be over zealous in the arrests of anyone but Lake Geneva residents.

On With raze order lifted, assessment will determine condition of Delavan's temperance house

Posted on July 29 at 10:30 p.m. ( Suggest removal )

The condition is is that it's a piece of crap. This thing may have been "saved" 80 years ago. Now, it's beyond the point of repair and simply needs to be removed. Photograph and document it that way. Get rid of it because it is a fire hazard. There is no way the Delavan City Council needs to be looking at spending any more money than they already have spent....taxpayer money....when they are looking at personnel cuts, furloughs and layoffs city wide. This is an eyesore and needs to go. It's simply an OLD BUILDING. If the City of Delavan were in sound financial shape and had loads of money in reserve with all loans and bills paid, then maybe...just maybe. Not when employees and their families livelihoods are on the line. Give me a break. Use your heads people!

SpayandNeuter: Really? Offensive and irrelevent?!?!? Are u insane? No, the simple fact is when you and PanamaRed don't answer the question posed makes me believe that you condemn the killing of geese but condone abortion. That's what is HYPOCRITICAL. Other methods have been explored and used through the years. You're obviously not a Delavan Township resident and don't know the extent of the issue at hand and the history of the problem. I love it when uninformed people that aren't affected by an issue weigh in on things they know nothing about. Give me a break. Go back to wahtever community you live in and complain about stupid things there. Don't do it here. I'm hungry for some baby goose liver pate'. mmmmmmmmm

Hey malip, your business isn't needed here. I'm with BostonBill on this one. Go elsewhere. You don't live here and don't know the extent of the problem so keep your mouth shut. Keep hugging your trees. Ignroance is bliss and you're apparently VERY blissful.
