On Rural Walworth County schools gone, but not forgotten

Posted on December 26 at 11:43 p.m. ( Suggest removal )

Margaret this was a very good article. My father used to share his memories of his one room school house in ND that use to have a 22 rifle in the corner to shoot gophers at recess. Thank you very much. Jury foreman.

On Nass calls for state lawyer to resign

Posted on April 9 at 10:03 a.m. ( Suggest removal )

I believe that Sen Nass should not go looking into closets of people unless he is willing to open his. Does Sen Nass receive emails/contributions from people and then turn around and do what they want and ignore what his job duties are? If he is still able to do his job, why can't others be afforded the same. If we asked for the resignations from everyone like that the capital would be empty.

On Republicans forced to rework plan for passing budget repair bill

Posted on February 18 at 6:21 a.m. ( Suggest removal )

With Walker canceling all of the state contracts, there won't be a need to lay off people. The state has had so many hiring freezes in place so long that a lot of the state workers are eligible for retirement and are taking that option. Also if you think that this is it wait until you see what else happens when this bill gets passed. He has put so many things in a budget repair bill that do not do anything to repair the budget, but give him or other departments more power without legislative oversight ie look at what power he is giving the department of health. He will not stop there if he goes unchecked. Before you go off and comment either way I would suggest that you read Special Senate Bill 11.

On Video: Thousands of lights dance to the music at Walworth home

I went to see this house with all of the lights and it was amazing. I made a return trip with my mother and brother (who in the past worked at VIP services) to see the lights. We also placed money in the donation box which is easily missed as you get distracted watching all of the lights. A MUST SEE. Well worth the 45 minute trip.

This is a good time. The church dartball league in Delavan is looking for more church groups that would want to sign up. If someone is wondering how to get started you can leave me a message. A team consists of at least seven people and meets once a week from the end of October to the end of March.
