the whole child support system should be re done. first issue is that it is based on gender discrimination. woman get the children handed to them at birth. they then use the child as a pawn for money. they should have to prove where the money is going. dudes need to step up and be men (that means being a father). i pay my child support and arrearage and have been for a long time. stop putting interest on arrears so that they can pay the debt off. children are not a credit card. yes it is true that some cases need different circumstance. if the woman is recieving welfare she should not get the arrearage money it should go to the state. if a woman is on welfare or has no job she should have to find a job just like the man. she should also have to do a drug test as well as any person living with her that is their boyfriend if she wants to recieve benefits this is supported on facebook by over a million people. custody and physical placement should be 50\50 at birth period, not automatically givin to the mother. everything should be 50/50 from the begining, then maybe these little boys will step up to the plate if its a level playing field.
