On UFO sighting on Delavan Lake?

During and after the Lauderdale Lakes fireworks on July 3rd, a group of us saw at least four orange lights pass almost directly overhead. They moved slowly along a straight line course from SSW to NNE, separated in distance by a mile or so. At least two of the aircraft continued along that course, their orange lights remaining visible from behind but one of the aircraft or its orange light disappeared while it was overhead. My best guess of our closest distance from the aircraft would be about 1,000 feet. Even at that close proximity, none of us was able to see the outline of a fuselage or hear any sounds. None of the aircraft displayed any of the standard aircraft navigation lights, just a single omnidirectional orange light that appeared to flicker like a flame. My impression? Clever hi-tech pranksters taking advantage of a captive audience of fireworks fans.

Maybe merchants should offer a cash (currency) discount and just see what happens. With enough momentum, one of the credit card companies might be motivated to change its terms and start a price war.
On that same subject, why haven't these identical industry-wide merchant fees inspired some sort of anti-trust lawsuit for price fixing collusion?

I am trying to picture 3 out of every 5 kids in Delavan living below the poverty line. It looks like we are splitting into two nations even sooner than I'd expected. :~(
