Just to inform you, crafty, it is Federal funded housing and by law there has to be handicapped accessible parking/pickup. I hope one day you need that kind of help and can't get it. We'll see then who's suing who.

@ crafty: Yes, both times I had just crested the hill to the west of the intersection. I'm not the only one who has seen them do this before. There are two other people I know who have seen this happen. I have to agree that flashing stop signs would be a good idea.

@ crafty: I have seen Deans trucks run the stop sign where County K intersects with Hwy 67 twice while heading north when I was heading east on Hwy 67. Going north there it isn't a blind intersection, everything is visible from all three of the other directions.

I don't think the fog had that much, if anything, to do with the accident. The semis from the Deans Plant in Chemung are notorious for blowing the stop sign there and where County K intersects with Hwy 67. I think someone just flat out blew the stop sign.

Well crafty, I've lived in Walworth County all my life and there has never been anything remotely close to "the projects" here. But then, the way the Republicans think in this county it doesn't surprise me that at least one of them would think that way, since we have so many people who work for wages that are far below a living wage. BTW, the Republicans are also the ones who deny that there are any homeless people in Walworth County. Just thought I'd throw that one in as a bonus.

@ PanamaRed: Walworth County is a very strong Republican county. I can't remember the last time ANY Democratic candidate for any office carried the majority vote in this county. Chances are that it was ONLY Republicans who were invited....seeing how most of the Republicans here consider Democrats to be the plague.
