Kedzie, Cullen make the list of legislators with high reimbursement rates

MADISON — Sen. Neal Kedzie (R-Elkhorn) and Sen. Time Cullen (D-Janesville) are among 10 of the state’s 132 legislators claiming over $10,000 in expense reimbursements for their time spent in Madison in 2012, according to a story from the Wisconsin Radio Network.

With the exception of lawmakers in nearby Dane County, Wisconsin legislators are allowed to claim $88 per day for expenses of food and lodging.

Assembly leaders had considered, but then abandoned the idea of voting to increase their daily allowances.
