MADISON Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald has appointed Sen. Tim Cullen (D-Janesville) to the board of the Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority (WHEDA), according to a release from Cullen's office.
WHEDA offers low-cost financing programs that benefit local economic development and affordable housing initiatives and works closely with lenders, developers, local governments, non-profit agencies, and community groups.
“I am proud to offer my service to furthering WHEDA’s mission of advancing economic development opportunities and providing affordable housing in communities across our state,” Cullen said. “I look forward to working with WHEDA to promote our shared goal of empowering communities to better serve Wisconsin residents.”
