— Mark your calendar for a fun evening in Delavan filled with "Hot Chili" and "Cool Jazz."

A Delavan-Darien High School Jazz Lab and Jazz Ensemble concert will feature both at a special concert at 6 p.m. Monday, Feb. 18, at DDHS, 150 Cummings St., Delavan. This is the second annual "Hot Chili, Cool Jazz" concert.

Both bands will perform songs in a variety of jazz styles, and concert goers will get to indulge in homemade Southwestern-style chili, provided by the DDHS Band Boosters.

Tickets for the meal and concert are $5 for adults and $2 for children 12 and under. Proceeds from the chili sales will go toward DDHS band activities.

Donations and volunteers are needed to assist with the event. To help out, contact Band Booster member Mike Ettner at 262-770-8668 or via email at mce@idcnet.com.
