Whitewater man charged with possession of 88 marijuana plants

A 23-year-old Whitewater man was charged with seven felonies, including possession of 88 marijuana plants, maintaining a drug trafficking place, and delivery of ecstacy, according to a news release by the Whitewater Police Department.

George Scheuller, 262 S. Wisconsin St., was arrested at his home Nov. 14 by Whitewater police and officers from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Police Services,

Police seized 88 marijuana plants with a potential street value of $189,200 and ecstasy pills.

Several other tenants were charged with drug related offenses.

The arrest came after a lengthy investigation in which police received information that drugs

were being used and sold by the residents.

Scheuller’s charges are being referred to the Walworth County District Attorney’s Office for prosecution.
