Lavery throws no-hitter, other scores

Jameson Lavery was in total command Tuesday.


The Orfordville Parkview pitcher threw a no-hitter to lead the Vikings to a 1-0 win over Cambridge in a WIAA Division 3 regional semifinal game.


Parkview (15-7) hosts Wisconsin Heights today in a regional final game.


Lavery, a junior, struck out 10 and walked only one. The Vikings got their only run in the first when Trevor Aasen tripled and scored on an error.

Trailing 4-2 in the seventh, Edgerton rallied behind three walks, a Tyler Oren single, and a game-winning fielder’s choice ground ball by Austin Mades.
