— The Beloit Snapper put the brakes on a three-game skid Monday with a 4-2 victory over the Burlington Bees in Midwest League baseball.

The Snappers scored all four of their runs in the fifth inning to erased a 2-0 deficit.

Matt Koch and Adam Pettersen each produced bases-loaded singles to score to two runs each to highlight the Snappers’ rally.

Starter Jason Wheeler (5-1) allowed two runs on eight hits, walked one and notched five strikeouts through seven innings for the victory. Reliever Michael Tonkin tossed two innings of hitless relief for his third save.
