2.4 magnitude earthquake strikes McHenry County
WOODSTOCK, Ill The U.S. Geological Survey's website reported a 2.4 magnitude earthquake struck at 9:54 p.m. Monday, 6.2 miles deep, with an epicenter 11 miles east of Woodstock, Ill., in McHenry County, not far from the Wisconsin-Illinois border.
Originally, the epicenter was reported at Bristol, in Kenosha County.
There have been no reports of damages.
