Dense fog advisory issued for Walworth County until 9 a.m.
WALWORTH COUNTY The National Weather service has issued a dense fog advisory for Walworth County until 9 a.m. this morning, with below-freezing temperatures causing icy patches on roadways and diminished visibilities.
Walworth and Rock counties have visibilities ranges from one-eighth to one-quarter miles, according to the advisory.
This morning will see fog, drizzle and freezing drizzle turn to partly cloudy skies and mild temperatures, with a chance of a few flurries or drizzle tonight.
The weather outlook:
Today: A chance of drizzle or freezing drizzle before 10 a.m., then mostly cloudy, with a high near 35 degrees, and west winds between 5 and 20 mph.
Tonight: Scattered sprinkles and flurries before midnight. Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly clear, with a low around 19 degrees. West wind around 10 mph.
Friday: A 30 percent chance of snow after 3 p.m. Increasing clouds, with a high near 35 degrees. West wind around 10 mph.
Friday night: Snow, mainly before midnight. Low around 21 degrees. West wind between 10 and 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent with a new snow accumulation of around an inch possible.
