Langley propels Clinton

Justin Langley scored all 15 of his points in the final three quarters to lead Clinton past Jefferson in a key Rock Valley Conference crossover boys basketball game Thursday night.


The Cougars' 57-32 victory against the visiting Eagles keeps Clinton two games ahead of Brodhead in the Rock Valley South with a 7-1 record. The Cougars are 10-1 overall.


Jefferson dropped two games behind Rock Valley North-leading East Troy with a 6-2 league mark. The Eagles are 7-6 overall.


Langley's three-quarter production helped Clinton pull away from a 10-8 lead after one quarter.


Cody Risseeuw added 10 points in the victory. Ten players scored for the victors.


Max McGowan led Jefferson with eight points.
