Police investigating Twin Lakes bank robbery

TWIN LAKES The Twin Lakes Police Department is investigating a robbery of the M & I Bank in Twin Lakes yesterday afternoon, according to a police notice from the Burlington Chamber of Commerce.
Police responded to a hold-up alarm at 3:52 p.m. Monday at the bank, located at 508 N. Lake Avenue.
Bank employees described the robber as an adult white male of an unknown age, 6' tall, and weighing about 170 pounds. He was wearing a royal blue coat with the coat's hood over the head to just above the eyes, blue jeans, white tennis shoes, dark sunglasses, red gloves and a dark-colored scarf covering his face.
The man handed a note to the teller demanding money, but did not show or imply he had a weapon.
The teller gave the subject an undetermined amount of money.
The subject fled on foot from the bank.
An investigation is pending with the Twin Lakes Police Department, the FBI and M & I security.
