— Unemployment rates increased in most Wisconsin cities and counties between October and November.

The Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development reported Thursday that unemployment rates increased in every city with more than 32,000 in November except for Caledonia, which had no change.

Unemployment also increased in every county except Ozaukee, Pierce and St. Croix. Six counties had either a decrease or no change.

Walworth County's unemployment rate rose to 6.5 percent in November from 5.7 percent in October. The November 2012 rate, however, is down from 6.8 percent unemployment one year ago.

Racine had the highest unemployment for any city at 11.5 percent, followed by Beloit at 10.1 percent and Milwaukee at 9.6 percent.

Menominee County had the highest unemployment for a county at 13.5 percent.

The national unemployment rate was 7.7 percent in November, compared with 6.7 percent in Wisconsin.
