Whitewater investigation of reported attack on Kedzie’s son at a standstill
WHITEWATER The criminal investigation into a reported assault against the son of Sen. Neal Kedzie (R-Elkhorn) remains stalled, according to a story by Watchdog.org.
The political website run by independent journalists mentioned the Kedzie case in its story on another alleged assault involving politics, and the Republican campaign worker from Madison who later recanted his report to police of being attacked for his political affiliation and sexual orientation.
According to the story, City of Whitewater Police Chief Lisa Otterbacher said although police met last week with Sean Kedzie, nothing developed. Otterbacher wouldn’t say when she thought more information would be released to the public.
In October, Sean Kedzie had reported being beaten up by two men he said he caught stealing a Romney-Ryan sign in his yard.
