Loudenbeck to chair Workforce Development committee
MADISON Rep. Amy Loudenbeck (R-Clinton) has been appointed to chair the new Assembly Committee on Workforce Development.
"It is an honor to be chosen to lead this important committee. Workforce development involves a complex set of administrative, funding and regulatory challenges; and a comprehensive approach will be needed to achieve optimal results. I look forward to working with committee members and stakeholders to craft good public policy that will ensure Wisconsinites are well-positioned to meet existing and future workforce needs," Loudenbeck.
The Workforce Development Committee will be charged with reviewing Tim Sullivan's Workforce Development Report and will address issues such as worker training and closing the skills gap.
Loudenbeck was recently re-elected to her second term in the Wisconsin State Assembly to serve the 31st Assembly District. She has a Chamber of Commerce background and experience in workforce and economic development. She is currently a member of the Assembly Committee on Jobs, Economy and Small Business.

Cool. Just look at all the jobs she has brought to the area since she's been in office.
