Romney/Ryan staffers set stops in Racine, Janesville

— The Romney/Ryan Mobile HQ will stop in Racine and Janesville today to energize volunteers and give supporters the opportunity to contrast the policies of President Barack Obama with the ideas presidential candidate Mitt Romney and Rep. Paul Ryan are offering.

"Strengthening the Middle Class" will be held today, Aug. 20, at 1:55 p.m. at the Victory Center, 6211 Durand Ave., Suite 203, in Racine. Speakers include former state Sen. Van Wanggaard, Racine County Executive Jim Ladwig, and Republican Party of Wisconsin Vice Chairman Brain Schimming.

A volunteer kickoff party will be held at 6 p.m. today at the Janesville Victory Center, 37 Main St., Janesville. Schimming will also be present.
