Arrests

-- WAYNE HARMON, 58, of 413 S. Main St., Apt. B, Janesville, for disorderly conduct/domestic violence while armed and a parole violation at 9 p.m. Tuesday. Harmon reportedly threatened people at the address with a 14-inch gold knife but left before police arrived. Police arrested him later on East Court Street.


-- JOSE EMANUEL OCELOT, 17, of 2626 Vail Court, No. 1, Janesville, at 5:04 p.m. Tuesday for possession of drug paraphernalia, carrying a concealed weapon and possession of an electric weapon. Ocelot was arrested after a traffic stop in the 2500 block of North Lexington Drive after a police dog gave police reason to search the vehicle.


-- TREMAINE MICHAEL HILL, 19, for battery by prisoner at 10:42 a.m. Tuesday in the Rock County Jail. He reportedly struck another prisoner with a closed fist, bruising his eye and breaking two teeth.


-- JORDAN PARIS WORTHAM, 18, for battery by prisoner at 11:02 a.m. Tuesday in the Rock County Jail. Wortham threw two empty milk cartons filled with feces, urine and water into another prisoner's cell, hitting him in the foot and leg.


-- NICHOLAS J. BATZLER, 32, of Loves Park, Ill., on six counts of burglary, six counts of theft and one count of possession of stolen property for incidents that occurred in July and August at 10 a.m. Monday in the Rock County Jail.


-- JAMES D. TARRANT, 43, of Rockford, Ill., on six counts of being party to burglary and six counts of being party to theft for incidents that occurred in July and August Monday in the Rock County Jail.


-- JACOB R. PHILLIPS, 26, of 712 Milton Ave., Janesville, just after midnight Tuesday at Quotes Bar and Grill, 24 N. Main St., Janesville, on charges of two counts of battery, two counts of disorderly conduct and resisting an officer after a bar fight.


Accidents

-- KELLOGG AVENUE WEST OF SOUTH WALNUT STREET at 3:33 p.m. Tuesday. Matthew Jensen, 16, of 2124 S. Palm, Janesville, was traveling south on South Oakhill Avenue when he accelerated as he turned left. The vehicle fishtailed on wet pavement, struck the curb on the south side of Kellogg and flipped on the passenger's side. Jensen was cited for driving too fast for conditions and failure to wear a seat belt. He also damaged a nearby lawn. He was transported to a local hospital, but his condition was not available because he is a minor.


-- WEST COURT STREET AND SOUTH JACKSON STREET at 7:08 a.m. Tuesday. Mallory Bolanger, 3219 Village Court, Janesville, was transported to Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center, Janesville, after the car she was driving east on West Court Street went through a red light and hit a car driven by Kayla Babler, 17, of 2107 S. Terrace, Janesville. Bolanger told police her brakes failed. A passenger in her car, Thomas Galloway, 3, of 3210 Village Court, was not injured. Bolanger was treated and released. Babler was cited for operating after suspension.


-- HIGHWAYS 11 AND 51 at 9:05 p.m. Friday. A semitrailer truck driven by Derrick L. Craig, 45, of Sterling, Ill., collided with a car driven by Jason P. Rogers, 37, of 3241 S. River Road, Janesville. Rogers was cited for disregarding a traffic signal and not wearing a seat belt. Rogers and another passenger in his car, Mason L. Rogers, 12, were transported to Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center, Janesville. Jason was treated and released. Mason's condition was not released because he is a minor.
