Lake Geneva celebrates autumn this weekend with Oktoberfest

LAKE GENEVA -- Lake Geneva will celebrate fall is it hosts its 20th annual Oktoberfest Saturday and Sunday downtown.



This family fall festival includes food and craft booths, restaurant and shopping specials, wagon rides and a German band and dancing.

Sunday, noon to 6 p.m. on the 200 block of Broad Street will be music by the Authentic German Polka Band along with Oktoberfest dancing by the the United Donauschwaben of Milwaukee Kindergruppe.

A shuttle will run from the Petco/Office Max parking lot on the corner of Edwards Boulevard and U.S. Highway 50 to downtown Lake Geneva in front of Mill Creek Hotel next to the Post Office.

The shuttle runs from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sat., Oct. 8 and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 9 approximately every 20 minutes.
