Elkhorn drops Edgerton, Big Foot falls

Elkhorn High ruined the debut of Jason Knott as Edgerton High’s boys basketball coach Tuesday night.


The Elks built a nine-point halftime lead, and then held the Crimson Tide to three points in the third quarter en route to a 50-36 nonconference victory on the opening night of the boys basketball season.


Elkhorn sophomore Arik Anderson led his team with 11 points, while Danny Dessent added nine.


Adam Converse led Edgerton with nine points.

n Milwaukee Academy of Science 76, Big Foot 58—De’Andre Gladney came off the bench to score 27 points to lead Milwaukee Academy of Science to a win over visiting Big Foot.


Gladney scored 18 of his 27 in the third quarter, when MAOS ran off the final 19 points of the quarter to build a 58-39 lead.


Kenneth Walker scored 17 points, Jordan Miller had 13, and Ian Carthey added 10 for the Chiefs.
