— As protests continue at the state Capitol in response to Gov. Scott Walker’s budget-repair bill, Forward Janesville is preparing for a keynote address by Walker at its annual dinner March 29.

John Beckord, president of the 500-member economic development and business advocacy organization, expects a crowd of 500 to 600 people for the dinner.

The governor is expected to talk for 40 to 45 minutes, possibly about economic development strategy in Wisconsin, Beckord said.

The dinner will be held at the Holiday Inn Express and Conference Center in Janesville. For more information, call (608) 757-3160.
