— Delavan's Lake Lawn resort continues to get back up and running following its purchase this spring by a group of local investors.

The resort's Lookout Bar and Eatery will be open Saturday, reports the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel's Tom Daykin.

The resorts website, www.lakelawnresort.com also is up and running.

The golf course is currently open and more than 100 golfers hit the greens on Memorial Day, Jim Drescher, the head of an investment group that in May bought the resort for $9.5 million told the Gazette recently.

The marina also is open. Drescher wants Lake Lawn's regulars to be pleasantly surprised when they pull up for a stay. "You only get one chance to impress," he said.

The hotel is expected to open in early July, according to the resort's Facebook page.
