Dayton ends Beloit’s winning streak

The Beloit Snappers’ four-game winning streak came to an end in Dayton on Thursday night.


Dayton scored twice in the first inning and never trailed as the Dragons defeated the Snappers, 4-2, in Midwest League play.


Designated hitter Michael Gonzales went 2-for-4 with an RBI for the Snappers, who were held to seven hits.
