Beloit offense runs up 21 on Burlington

— The Beloit Snappers pounded the host Burlington Bees, 21-8, Wednesday to crushed a three-game Midwest Leauge losing streak.

The Snappers collected 18 hits. Jairo Perez hit a three-run homer, a two-run homer and two-run double to collect eight RBIs.


The Snappers scored five runs in the second inning, highlighted by Perez’s three-run shot, to take a 9-3 lead. Beloit added two runs in the fourth and eight runs in the fifth to salt the game away.


Beloit starter Ryan O’Rourke (3-2) allowed four runs on six hits through five innings to take the victory.
