ELKHORN Fourteen beautiful homes are being represented by twelve builder members of Lakeland Builders Association in the 22st annual LBA Parade of Homes. Nine are around the Geneva Lake area, two are on Powers Lake, one is in Elkhorn, one in the Lauderdale Lakes area and one in East Troy. Homes will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays, July 30 -31 and August 6 - 7.
Tickets can be bought at a discounted price by using vouchers to get ‘2-for-the-price-of 1’ tickets (2 tickets for only $6)! Flyers with the vouchers and ticket sales are at Piggly Wiggly locations in Lake Geneva, Delavan, Elkhorn and East Troy as well as area banks including Associated Bank, Community Bank CBD, M&I Bank, Peoples Bank, Talmer Bank and Trust and Walworth State Bank. Two weeks before the Parade of Homes visit Stinebrink’s Piggly Wiggly in Lake Geneva on Saturday, July 16 from 10 a.m. - noon for a live LBA broadcast WLKG 96.1 FM. Those who bring a voucher and buy tickets that day will get a free brat or hot dog. A portion of the proceeds will benefit American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life program. On hand will be LBA's corporate sponsor, Josh Basso of Basso Builders, and LBA President Cindy Knutson-Lycholat of Knutson Bros. II, LLC.
During Parade weekends, sign up to be in a prize drawing at each home visted. Prizes will be awarded from every home. Also, don’t forget to vote in the People’s Choice contest.
The 2011 Parade of Homes is also being sponsored by CSI Media, Lake Geneva Regional News, The Beacon, WLKG 96.1 FM, gazlo.com, Permit Path, Blenker Building Systems, M&I Bank, Chicago Title Insurance Co., Sherwin Williams Paint Company and Crafted Countertops.
