Milton's defense stymies Badger, other scores

Milton High used three double-figure scorers to improve to 7-1 with a 66-33 nonconference girls basketball victory over visiting Lake Geneva Badger on Tuesday night.


The Red Hawks held the Badgers to 13 points in the second half after building a 39-26 halftime lead.


Liz Eide scored 15 points to lead Milton. Morgan Blumer added 13, and Ashton Stair chipped in 11.


Emma Kopp scored 18 points for the visiting Badgers (5-4).

Grace Ames led the Elks


(5-5) with 10 points.
