Burlington shuts out Beloit Snappers offense

— Beloit’s bats were silent Thursday night in Midwest League baseball at Pohlman Field.

The Snappers managed only two hits in a 4-0 loss to the Burlington Bees.


Burlington jumped ahead with three runs in the fifth inning off Beloit starter Blayne Weller (5-6).


The two teams wrap up the two-game series tonight.
