Pauline Parker, former county board member, dead at 64

— Pauline Parker, a member of the Walworth County board from 1994 to 2008, died April 15, 2011 at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee. She was 64.

Parker lost a race in April, 2008 to fellow incumbent Randy Hawkins.

The two board members faced each other after the board downsized in 2007 from 25 seats to 11 and created new districts.

Parker moved to Genoa City in 1978 with her husband, James, and operated Parker's Service Station.

She also served one term as a Genoa City village trustee.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Richmond, Ill. Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Haase-Derrick-Lockwood Funeral Home, Twin Lakes.
