— The Beloit Snappers made do with one hit to defeat the visiting Clinton Lumber-Kings, 1-0, in Midwest League baseball Tuesday.

In the seventh inning, the Snappers’ Oswaldo Arcia drew a walk off Clinton starter Forrest Snow, who held the Snappers hitless through six innings.

Michael Gonzalez singled off reliever Matt Bischoff

(0-2) to break up the no-hitter and move Arcia to third base. Arcia scored the game’s lone run on Daniel Ortiz’s sacrifice fly.

Martire Garcia (1-0) threw two shutout innings of relief to gain the victory. Matt Hauser got the LumberKings in order in the ninth for his first save.

Four Snappers pitchers blanked the LumberKings on five hits.
