MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Republican candidates for governor Scott Walker and Mark Neumann are making a final push across the state heading into Tuesday's primary.

Mark Neumann will visit Racine’s Kewpee’s, 520 Wisconsin Ave., at 8:55 a.m. and Scott Walker will visit Downtown Union Grove, near 1010 Main St., at 7:30 p.m.

Both candidates have planned multiple stops to woo voters. Election officials expect a record-high 28 percent turnout.

Neumann also plans stops Thursday in Milwaukee, Sheboygan, Manitowoc, Green Bay and Appleton.

Neumann, of East Troy, is a former congressman who served in the House for eight years in the 1990s.

Walker also plans stops Thursday in Green Bay, Appleton, Oshkosh, Fond du Lac and Beaver Dam.

Walker, who grew up in Delavan, is the Milwaukee County executive and a former state lawmaker.

Democratic candidate Tom Barrett faces only token opposition. He is Milwaukee's mayor.
