Lyons Days

Date and time of event: Saturday (Sept. 11) from 10 a.m. to midnight; Sunday (Sept. 12) from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Location of event: Riverview Park, 1477 Mill St, Lyons.

Description of event: A fun event for the whole family with a softball tournament, explorer’s water fights, tug of war, petting zoo, parade aerial prize drop for the kids, 50/50 raffle, food, drink and music, music, music.

Any special features, performances, entertainment: On Saturday, the Twin Rivers Band performs from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. followed by Chasing Amy from 8 p.m. to midnight. On Sunday enjoy the parade, which steps off at 11 a.m.

Cost/ticket information: FREE admission Saturday & Sunday during the day; $5 after 6 p.m. or bring two canned goods for the food pantry and take $1 off admission.
