Emily Cadman of Spring Prairie 4-H uses a specially designed cart to lead her sheep, Peanut, around the ring. Peanut was named champion of its bread during competition Thursday. This is the third year Cadman, who has cerebral palsy, has shown sheep at the fair. Terry Mayer/staff.

ELKHORN -- Emily Cadman, 14, of Whitewater, took part in sheep judging Thursday at the Walworth County Fair.

Cadman, a Lyons resident who attends East Troy Middle School and is a member of Spring Prairie 4-H, has cerebral palsy, but that hasn't hindered her love of the fair.

Using a specially designed cart, Cadman was able to show Peanut, who came away the champion's trophy for its breed.

Way to go, Emily! I'm glad that you are following your ambition! I cringe at the thought of how difficult it is to drive through the ring as you show your Peanut!!
