Dive team pulls body of missing man from Lake Beulah

— The body of an East Troy Township man was pulled from Lake Beulah this afternoon after he was reported him missing Wednesday morning.

The man's identity has not been released.

He is described as a 33 year old who was last seen in the early morning hours Wednesday attempting to dock a boat.

Divers from the Mukwonago Fire Department located the body about 2:45 p.m. approximately 50 feet from shore, in 10 feet of water, according to a joint news release from the Walworth County Sheriff's Office and the dive team.

The body was recovered a short time later by deputies from the Walworth County Sheriff' Office Dive Team.

The search began about 8 a.m. Wednesday when town of East Troy Police were contacted about a missing person.

Police began their search in the area of the W1600 block of County Highway J in the town of East Troy, including the area of Mill Lake, a portion of Lake Beulah.

The Walworth County Coroner's Office was contacted and an autopsy will be performed on Friday. The body has been positively identified as the missing person. The name is being withheld, pending notifications.

The case remains under investigation by the Walworth County Sheriff's Office and the DNR.
