Beloit man faces drug charges

WCLO's Steve Benton reports Beloit police arrest a 24 year old convicted felon on numerous illegal drug charges

— Beloit's Drug and Gang unit used search warrants at two locations late Wednesday night and early Thursday morning in an ongoing drug investigation.

Police Capt. Bill Tyler says 24 year old Jacob Risseeuw was arrested for the manufacture and delivery of marijuana, and hashish, drug tax stamp violation, possession of oxycodone and hydrocodone, and felon in possession of a weapon.

Police confiscated evidence at both residences, 1355 Townline Ave. and 232 Chestnut Street. The evidence included over two pounds of marijuana, a quantity of hashish and the class 2 narcotics, U.S. currency, a semi-automatic hand gun and a machine type pistol.

Risseeuw is being held at the Rock County jail pending a court hearing scheduled for Friday.
