— A flood warning remains in effect along the Fox River near Wisconsin Highway 50 at New Munster in Kenosha County, just east of the Walworth County line.

The warning extends south into Lake County, Ill., according to a bulletin from the National Weather Service in Sullivan.

The water level had risen to 11.9 feet as of 3 a.m., nearly two feet above flood stage.

The water is up to floor level in some homes in the Wheatland area, and minor flooding is occurring elsewhere.

The National Weather Service predicts the river will continue rising, cresting at 12.25 feet sometime Monday or Tuesday.

Residents needing temporary housing can call the American Red Cross at 1-800-236-8680.
