— Two Milton teens have been arrested after police found graffiti in parks and on buildings around the city.

It could cost several thousand dollars to fix the damage, according to a news release from the Milton Police Department.

Police on Sunday referred two teens to juvenile authorities on charges of felony criminal damage to property. The investigation is ongoing, and it appears others could also be responsible for the damage, the release states.

At 1 a.m. Sunday, police found spray-painted graffiti on the CESA 2 building at 448 E. High St., Milton.

More graffiti was reported throughout the day. The pavilion at Schilberg Park on High Street was sprayed as was Pak-Fresh, 245 E. Madison Ave. Private homes and cars also were targeted.

Much of the graffiti was vulgar and was made to appear as if it was gang related, the release states.

If anyone has information about the incidents, they can call the Milton Police Department at (608) 868-6910 or (608) 757-2244.
