Chiefs advance to face No. 1 seed Union Grove

— The Big Foot Chiefs took control of a see-saw battle with four minutes remaining for a victory over the visiting Mariners (13-10) in a Division 2 regional opener.

Big Foot (19-4) plays at No. 1 seed Union Grove (20-2) in Thursday’s regional semifinals. The winner draws Delavan-Darien (19-4) or Cudahy (15-8) in a regional title game Saturday that leads to the Janesville Craig Sectional.

Haley Schwartz scored 12 of her 21 points in the fourth quarter to spark Big Foot.

Courtney Spangler scored 14 of her game-high 29 points in the first quarter for Big Foot.
