— A judge raised the cash bail of a man living in Delavan to $1 million Tuesday after the the man was accused of violating conditions of his bail by drinking at a Darien Township strip club.

Chad Lurvey, 36, formerly of Ottawa, was charged with two felony counts of bail jumping after allegedly consuming alcohol at Darien Township club before striking a parked car with his pickup while leaving the tavern, according to the criminal complaint.

Lurvey is awaiting trial for the 2002 killings of Brian Lazzaro of Mukwonago and Andrew Long of West Milwaukee.

The bodies of the men were found in September 2002 in a private lake owned by Lurvey's family. The men were shot multiple times, their necks were cut, and their bodies were wrapped in blankets and chains, according to the criminal complaint.

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported that Lurvey had been free on $500,000 bail after being charged in July 2009 with two counts of first-degree intentional homicide in the deaths of Lazzaro and Long.
