How did the event get started? Ten years ago Fred Kukla, Ed Gorz, Bonnie Lempart and Shirley Gorz, all Lake Como Yacht Club members, went down to see how they conducted the races in Twin Lakes. The group decided to have their own races on Lake Como. It took place across from Freddie’s West End the first year and then continued as a Yacht Club event, and it is still held across from Freddie's West End each year. It’s a fantastic fun day for the whole family.

Is this a fundraiser or benefit? It is a Lake Como Yacht Club event for the community.
