MADISON (AP) — A new poll shows that either major Republican candidate for governor would crush the Democrat should the election be held now.
But the University of Wisconsin Badger Poll released on Thursday also shows that most people just aren't paying attention to the race four months before the election.
The poll shows that 32 percent would vote for either Republican Scott Walker or Mark Neumann. Only 15 percent say they would vote for Democrat Tom Barrett.
But a whopping 52 percent say they are undecided. A majority of voters also say they don't know enough about any of the three candidates to say whether they like them or not.
The random telephone poll of 500 people conducted between June 9 and July 10 has a margin of error of plus or minus 4.4 percentage points.
