DARIEN TOWNSHIP -- The interior of a Darien Township auto shop was heavily damaged Tuesday following a fire that broke out in the building shortly after noon.

Firefighters responded to Bray Enterprises, W9638 Highway 11, shortly after noon. Firefighters contained the blaze to the inside of the building then cut holes in the roof to allow smoke to escape.

The building is next to the Broken Spokes Roadhouse near the Walworth and Rock county line. The business sells used cars and does auto repairs.

Fire crews from Darien, Clinton, Sharon and Delavan responded.

The fire is still under investigation, and no cause or estimate of damages was available.
