Arrests

-- LISA J. FURAN, 28, of 3210 Briar Crest Drive, Janesville, at 8:04 p.m. Sunday at Milton Avenue and Interstate 90/39, on a warrant from the Rock County Sheriff’s Office charging escape and on a charge of theft. She allegedly did not return to the work-release dormitory on Dec. 22 and later stole a Wii game system from her residence.


Intoxicated driving arrests

-- RICKY E. THOMPSON, 51, of 8208 N. County H, Edgerton, at 11:33 p.m. Friday on West County M just east of County H in Fulton Township. Also cited for possession of marijuana and unsafe lane deviation. Listed as his third arrest for intoxicated driving.


-- DANIELLE M. AXELSON, 27, of 728 Yuba St., Janesville, at 2:50 a.m. Friday on Highway 11 east of Dickey Road in Spring Valley Township. Listed as her third arrest for intoxicated driving.


-- JACOB D. JANES, 22, of 11324 N. Highway 26, Milton, at 11:53 p.m. Dec. 29 on North Highway 26, just north of County N in Milton Township. Also cited for speeding.


-- PHILLIP A. HENDERSON, 24, of 114 W. Madison Ave., Milton, at 3:03 a.m. Friday on West Highway 14 at Robinson Lane in Janesville Township.


-- JESUS MERINO-CRUZ, 32, of Watertown, at 9:25 p.m. Friday on North Highway 26 south of Klug Road in Milton Township. Also cited for unreasonable/imprudent speed, open intoxicants and failure to notify the DMV of a change of address, after he lost control of his car and went off the road, hitting a fence.


-- ANASTACIO S. MENDOZA, 40, of 802 Center Ave., Janesville, at 12:45 a.m. Dec. 28 in the 800 block of Philhower Road in Beloit Township.


-- JAMES J. CLOSSEY, 51, of 736 Philhower Road, Beloit, at 11:36 p.m. Wednesday at Riverside Drive and Townline Road in Beloit Township after a single-vehicle rollover accident. The arrest was listed as Clossey’s fourth on a drunken-driving charge. He also was cited for operating on a revoked license and driving too fast for conditions.


-- ERICA L. STOLL, 26, of Loves Park, Ill., at 1:22 a.m. Wednesday in the 2600 block of Riverside Drive in Beloit Township. Stoll also was cited for speeding.


-- AJIA J. WILEY, 22, of 1408 Randall St., Beloit, 2:36 a.m. Friday in the 2400 block of Riverside Drive in Beloit Township. Wiley also was cited for obstructing, operating while suspended and speeding.


-- KATHLEEN M. THOMPSON, 54, of 1512 Highland Ave., Janesville, at 9:17 p.m. Sunday in the 3800 block of Riverside Drive in Beloit Township. Thompson also was cited for lane deviation.

-- BURGLARY reported at 6:08 p.m. Sunday to a home in the 1400 block of Purvis Avenue, Janesville. Reported stolen was a 42-inch flat-screen television valued at $2,000.


Accidents

-- WEST RACINE STREET AT LINCOLN STREET, JANESVILLE, at 12:06 a.m. Sunday. Denis R. Turner, 49, of 3604 W. Tripp Road, Janesville, was treated and released at Mercy Hospital after his van was struck in the intersection by a car driven by Marcos R. Denson, 24, no address listed. Marcos cited for hit and run, operating after revocation and failure to stop at a stop sign. The car Marcos was driving was later located, but he was not immediately found.


-- WEST BRANDHERM ROAD ABOUT A HALF-MILE EAST OF CARROLL ROAD IN AVON TOWNSHIP, at 4 a.m. Dec. 29. Angela D. Hardin, 28, of Machesney Park, Ill., was treated and released at Beloit Memorial Hospital after her car slid on the snow-covered road, went into a ditch and rolled onto its roof.

Intoxicated driving arrests

-- JERRY L. MARTNER, 28, N859 Converse Road, Whitewater, on Saturday on Highway 59, Whitewater.


-- ALYSSA R. MAYER, 19, West Bend, on Friday on North Tratt Street, Whitewater.


-- CHRISTOPHER S. SNYDER, 20, 1222 Yoder, Whitewater, at 12:48 a.m. Friday on Starin Road on the UW-Whitewater campus. Also cited for operating while suspended and failure to stop at a stop sign.


Reported

-- BURGLARY to Fontana Jeweler, 553 Highway 67, Fontana, reported at 11:30 p.m. Dec. 23. A display case was damaged and imitation jewelry, valued at about $1,000, was reported stolen. The incident is under investigation.


-- ROOF COLLAPSE at Geneva Lake Manor nursing home, 211 Curtis St., Lake Geneva, reported at 10:15 a.m. Dec. 23. Firefighters found the canopy on the back of the building had collapsed under the weight of snow and ice. A woman was trapped, but managed to get out. She reportedly was transported to Aurora Lakeland Medical Center, Elkhorn, with minor injuries.

Intoxicated driving arrest

-- CHRISTOPHER R. PHILLIPS, 20, Brodhead, on Friday in the 1700 block of West 3rd Avenue, Brodhead. He also was cited for mandatory seatbelt, driving too fast for conditions, underage consumption and battery to a police officer.
