Monroe’s Tordoff delivers, other scores

Junior guard Brian Tordoff came through when Monroe High School’s boys basketball team needed him most Thursday night.


With his clutch play, the Cheesemakers (17-5, 10-2) clinched the outright Badger South championship with a 42-41 victory at Monona Grove.


It marks the first time in history Monroe has won four straight conference titles.

Mitch Trewyn had 19 points to lead Milton (5-16, 4-8), which split the season series with the Panthers (6-15, 4-8).
