Daddy Maxwell's wins Bay Civic League's chili cook-off

— Daddy Maxwells was voted the winner of the Williams Bay Women's Civic League's People's Choice at the chili cook off Feb. 6 at the Lion's Fieldhouse in Williams Bay.

The first-place winner was entry No. 1, By the Seat of Our Pants Catering from Daddy Maxwell's in Williams Bay.

The second-place winner was entry No. 6, The Waterfront Pub and Grill in Delavan.

The third-place winner was entry No. 12, Harpoon Willie's in Williams Bay.

Blind voting was done by entry number. The remaining participants include:

Entry No.4- Lake Lawn

Entry No.5- Charley O's Stone Fired Grill

Entry No.7- Chili''s Bar and Grill

Entry No.8-Kirsch's Restaurant on The Lake

Entry No.9- Samezzz Pizza in Williams Bay

Entry No.10-Geneva National

Entry No.11- Daddy Maxwell's

Entry No.13-Lake Geneva School of Cooking

Entry No.14-Lucke's Cantina

Entry No.15-The Abbey

The cook off was supported by Deakin Isle, Sperino's Pizza, Kilwins, Panera Bread, Bell's Grocery and Liquor, Starbucks, Piggly Wiiggly, Pot Belly Sandwich Works, and Chili's Grill and Bar.

All proceeds benefit the youth of the lakes area.
