Jarnigo's clutch FTs lift Lakeside, other scores

Jake Jarnigo was the man down the stretch Tuesday night for Lakeside Lutheran High School’s boys basketball team.


Jarnigo made 10 straight free throws in the fourth quarter to help the Warriors hold off Fort Atkinson, 59-54, to win the holiday tournament at Fort Atkinson.


After Fort Atkinson (3-7) got within 46-44 midway through the fourth, the Warriors went into a half-court stall that forced the Blackhawks to foul. Jarnigo made all 10 of his attempts in the fourth and scored 16 points.


Jimmy Hansen led the Blackhawks with 11 points.
